Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn't really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That's because they were able to connect experiences they've had and synthesize new things.

If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.

RIP Alexander McQueen

O bapho dessa quinta-feira, infelizmente, é a morte de Alexander McQueen .
Era um dos ícones britânicos da moda. Seu nome real era Lee McQueen e tinha 40 anos. Foi encontrado morto, supostamente, por que a hipótese de suicídio foi avançada por alguma da imprensa britânica, mas não há informações oficiais que o confirmem (via Público.clix.pt).
Difícil de acreditar, né? E tudo isso acontece as vésperas das semanas de moda de Londres e Paris.
Enfim, muitas pessoas estão fazendo milhões de suposições, tentando encontrar explicações citando tweets (McQueen tinha uma conta no twitter, mas que ja havia sido deletada) e ate mesmo um outro suicídio, cometido por Isabella Bow, amiga e editora de moda que se matou há 3 anos. Mas o fato é que, agora, nada disos importa muito, pois não tratá o gênio de volta. Um pena. Então fica aí uma homenagem.
